ISYS100 - Video Blog

This video is about the review of the best team, player, and goal in La Liga, Barclays Premier League, Bundesliga, and the World Cup Qualifier so far. The review was based on our own opinion about each league. There are also videos of the goal as part of the video.

Top 3 Coaches with Most Matches in La Liga

Coaches and managers are very important for a team. As they are the ones who need to think about the tactics and strategies to win the games. Here's the list of the top 3 coaches with most matches in La Liga (Wikipedia):

1. Luis Aragones (Spain)
Luis Aragones was active as a manager on 1974-2004. He has managed 757 games in La Liga. He has managed lots of La Liga teams such as Atletico Madrid, Real Betis, Barcelona, Espanyol, Sevilla, Valencia, Oviedo and Mallorca. He also used to be the Spain National Team coach in 2004-2008. He has died on 1 February 2014 in the age of 75 years old. He won lots of trophies with Atletico Madrid as a manager and also player.


2. Javier Irureta (Spain)
Javie Irureta was active as a manager on 1988-2008. He has managed 612 games in La Liga. He has managed lots of La Liga teams such as Oviedo, Racing Santander, Athletic Bilbao, Real Sociedad, Celta Vigo, Deportivo La Coruna, Real Betis and Real Zaragoza. He's famous for his spell at Deportivo. He also used to play for Real Union, Atletico Madrid and Athletic Bilabo as a forward.


3. Miguel Munoz (Spain)
Miguel Munoz was active as a manager on 1958-1982. He has managed 608 games in La Liga. He has managed La Liga teams such as Real Madrid, Granada, Las Palmas and Sevilla. He also used to managed the Spain National Team on 1969 and 1982-1988. He died at the age 68 on 16 July 1990. He used to be a professional football player too as a midfielder. He played for Logrones, Racing Santander, Celta Vigo and Real Madrid.

The list is about the top 3 active players with most appearances in La Liga. There are still many players in La Liga that have played in the league for years and hundreds of appearances. Here's the list (Wikipedia):

1. Joaquin (Spain)
Joaquin has appeared for 460 games in La Liga and scored 63 goals in total. He has played since 2001. His current club is Real Betis. Joaquin has also played for teams such as Valencia, Malaga and Fiorentina in his senior football career. Joaquin also played for Spain in 2002 until 2007. He played mostly as a right winger in his career. He has a good pace, dribbling and crossing ability as a winger. He's currently 36 years old.


2. Andres Iniesta (Spain)
Andres Iniesta has appeared for 418 games in La Liga and scored 34 goals in total. He has played since 2002. His current club is Barcelona, where he has spent all his career for one team only since his youth career. He is famous for his dribbling and passing ability. He played mostly as a central midfielder in his career. He also played for Spain from 2006 until now.


3. Sergio Ramos (Spain)
Sergio Ramos has appeared for 410 games in La Liga and scored 51 goals in total. He has played since 2004. His current club is Real Madrid, where he spent most of his career in his current team. Sergio Ramos moved to Real Madrid in 2005 from Sevilla. He played mostly as a central defender and also right back in his career. He also played for Spain from 2005 until now.

Top 3 Teams with Most La Liga Trophies

La Liga is the primary football competition in Spain that has be founded in 1929. The competition consists of 20 teams since the 1997-98 season. Here's the top 3 teams with most La Liga trophies (Wikipedia):

1. Real Madrid = 33 Trophies
Real Madrid is the current champions (2016-17) and the team with most La Liga titles which are 33 trophies. Real Madrid is a professional football club based in Madrid, Spain that has be founded on 6 March 1902. Real Madrid has several nicknames such as the Los Blancos (The Whites), Los Merengues (The Meringues) and Los Vikingos (The Vikings). Real Madrid's home ground is the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium. Their current president and team head coach is Florentino Perez and Zinedine Zidane respectively.

2. FC Barcelona = 24 Trophies
FC Barcelona is the runner up for the last season's La Liga and also the team with second most La Liga titles with 24 trophies. FC Barcelona is based in Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain. FC Barcelona has be founded on 29 November 1899. FC Barcelona has the nickname Barca and Blaugrana. FC Barcelona's home ground is the Camp Nou stadium. Their current president and team head coach is Josep Maria Bartomeu and Ernesto Valverde respectively.

Another La Liga team with most trophies is Atletico Madrid. They have won 10 La Liga tropies. Atletico Madrid is based in Madrid, Spain. Atletico Madrid has be founded on 26 April 1903. Atletico Madrid's nickname is Los Rojiblancos (The Red and Whites). Altetico Madrid's home ground is the Wanda Metropolitano since 2017. Their current president and team head coach is Enrique Cerezo and Diego Simeone respectively.

Top 3 La Liga All Time Top Scorers

Scoring a goal is an important aspect in football, as without scoring any goal, there will be no winner in a match. La Liga is famous with their lethal strikers from time to time. Here's the list of top 3 La Liga all time top scorers as of 1 October 2017 (Source: Wikipedia):

1. Lionel Messi (FC Barcelona/Argentina)
Lionel 'Andres' Messi has scored 360 goals from 389 matches that results a goal ratio of 0.93 goal per match. Messi is still an active player until now (2017) for FC Barcelona and the Argentina National Football Team. He just recently scored a hat-trick for Argentina that makes them qualified to the 2018 FIFA World Cup. Messi is well known as one of the best football player ever with 5 Ballon d'Or awards and other trophies.


2. Cristiano Ronaldo (Real Madrid/Portugal)
Cristiano Ronaldo has scored 285 goals from 268 matches that results a goal ratio of 1.06 goal per match. Ronaldo is still an active player until now (2017) for Real Madrid and Portugal National Football Team. Recently, Ronaldo helps Portugal to qualify to the 2018 FIFA World Cup. Ronaldo has 4 Ballon d'Or, only one behind Messi.


3. Telmo Zarra (Athletic Bilbao/Spain)

La Liga Matchday 6 Wrap

In the matchday  6 of La Liga, Real Betis has closed the matchday 6 with a big 4-0 win against Levante. Where all the goals came from the second half of the game. Real Betis' striker, Antonio Sanabria scored two goals, while the other striker which is Sergio Leon has scored one goal along with Fabian's goal that makes it 4-0 for Levante.

The other interesting score line is the Alaves vs Real Madrid match, where Madrid struggling to defeat Alaves. Even though Madrid leads 1-0 in the 10th minute by Dani Ceballos, Alaves could equalize from Manu Garcia's goal in the 40th minute. Dani Ceballos scores again on the 43th minute to gave Madrid the win. Valencia gain a dramatic 3 important points against Real Sociedad. Where Rodrigo strikes first on the 26th minute, then Elustondo equalizes at the 33rd minute. Nacho Vidal from Valencia makes it 2-1 on 55th minute before Oyarzabal equalizes again on the 59th minute. But after Sociedad's Zubeldia received his second yellow card, Valencia grabs the winner through Simone Zaza's goal in 85th minute.
